About Me
Thank you for taking the time to check out the El Shaddai Records Myspace. For those of you wondering who we are, what we do and what we represent I'll take a quick minute to hack it all out. When we looked out at the world we saw (to quote Demon Hunter) that "...music in our day and age is little more than a sociological phenomenon that in its very nature de-values the topic that it subjectifies." We saw so many labels using music artists as nothing more than credit cards, bands living more for the money, girls and fame than the music they play and once untamed scenes like Hardcore & Metal being attacked by the power of fashioncore, consumerism and a push to make each person a carbon copy of the next. In all this we felt there only two real options. One was to give up the very music we love to the hands of the enemies who would try and rob it from us. This was unacceptable. The other option was to take up arms and fight by starting an artist friendly label that seeks to put music back in its proper place of glory and power in a way that inspires all that hear and see it. This is our mission, our goal and purpose here at El Shaddai Records. We pray you enjoy the results...
