I was born in the heart of Indiana in 1972. I went to a small Catholic school and grew up listening to rap. In the late 80's I entered a local talent show with a friend doing a song called "God's Got the Power" using the beat from the Snap song. We won and the prize was a few hours of recording time at a studio. We formed a group called The Agape Crew. We recorded a demo and began to write a few more songs. We then started to play out locally very frequently. At one point we traveled to Dallas, Texas to chat with Barry Hogan formerly of P.I.D.. We talked about doing and album and trying to get our career off the ground, but it all fell through as our group started to fall apart.I continued to go to school and received a bachelor's degree in psychology. In my senior year of college a got a strong call to the priesthood, which was scary at first. I really had the desire to be married and have kids. God's call was strong though and I said yes. I have been blessed abundantly for giving my life to Him. He has given me so much more in return.I was ordained to the priesthood in 2002 on May 25th. I love serving people in the priesthood and bringing them closer to Jesus. I really enjoy my life as a priest and all the things I get to do.Now I am picking up the mic once again under the name of Pontifex, a word that means bridge builder. I love that concept; being a bridge that brings people closer to Jesus and at the same time building bridges between people.Look for a new EP coming out soon as well as some guest appearances on some other albums.Peace in Christ. Pontifex
