About Me

The Blackspot Music Point System is licensed under a Creative Commons License Public Domain. Take it, use it, make it better.

The Blackspot Music Note is an Open Source Anti-Logo in the Public Domain.

It is a symbol of resistance against multinational music Corporations like Viacom [owners of MTV, VH-1, Nickelodeon, UPN, BET, Blockbuster Video, CBS, Comedy Central] that, over the past few years, have come to dominate so much of our lives. The Blackspot Music Note, is for kicking mega-corporate ass and transforming the music industry, into a more diverse, grassroots affairs.

As a Blackspot Music Artist, you will be in control of all your Intellectual Property (IP). Never allow for contractual agreements that rob you of your rights, where your artistic creations are concerned. If you want to be a Blackspot Music Artist, and are already down with the Blackspot Music Point System . Then you are already a Blackspot Music Artist!
UPDATE: For as long as this page has been up we have been posting some amazing blogs, not quite as frequently as we would like to have the time for...But any Musicians out there who are interested in taking/keeping control of their Music and Intellectual Property in this age of Direct Communication, we encourage you to take a hard look at the large volume of information now posted in the Blackspot Music Blog and to subscribe for further updates on 'The cruel shallow money trench' that is the corporate music world in order to stay smart and avoid it at all costs!
THX and Good Luck to all of you!

Music:
