About Me

I'm naturally quiet and shy, but I can also get pretty loud and vulgar at times, especially if I get comfortable around you. But I guess that's part of the duplicitous personality of a Gemini =P
This pretty much summarizes everything =)
I miss the days when gas prices were just under a dollar for every 9/10 gallons...
Yes, as a College of Nursing Alum, I am a Rutgers-Newark Raider, but since I revolted and went to the New Brunswick campus instead, I got Scarlet Knighted =P
You can still check out my other works on these websites, with more to come now that I'm an RN (not that it has anything to do with making videos or writing songs or what not):
Videos - http://www.youtube.com/user/JunquionTV
Songs (w/ lyrics) - http://www.bolt.com/JunquionRadio/
If these sites don't satisfy you enough, now I have my pics up on this website: http://www.imagestation.com/members/ShortPnay1
After too long a delay, pics from the Rangers' season opener are finally up. Pics and videos from Noel's (Erik's cousin's baby's) 1st b-day party should be up soon as well ^_*

My Interests

Filipino and Japanese in general - in fact you can say I'm a Filipina with the mindset of a Japanese person, making movies, writing (parodies of) songs, Rangers Hockey - particularly Mike Richter (the One) and Henrik Lundqvist (the Next One). 80's tv and music, hanging out with my friends, kung fu and martial arts in general
Can I help it if I love Filipino food?

I'd like to meet:

Henrik Lundqvist - possibly the Rangers' biggest saving grace this season (no pun intended)

Mike Richter - Still the original savior of the New York Rangers and the reason why I became a Ranger fan...now, if he ever does run for office, the only reason I would EVER register to vote

Erik Santos - My new love interest...and no, Ghia, I don't just like him just because he shares the same first name as my baby...

Pretty much just look at my heroes list if you want to know who else ^_*

Music:

80s music, Reggaeton, OPMs, J-pop, and any other song with a good beat (no matter how stupid the lyrics are, unless it's a remix of a slow song)

Movies:

give me a Hugh Jackman film any day and I'm a happy girl =)...good Flip comedies or dramas also brighten up my day

Television:

Transformers G1 & RID, 80s TV, "Law and Order: SVU", The New Detectives, Forensic Files, Harvey Birdman, Robot Chicken, and whatever else catches my interest

Books:

"Memoirs of a Geisha", "Geisha, a Life" (notice a pattern yet?), and I will get through the "1 Rittoru no Namida" ("1 L of Tears") series somehow, even though it's all in Japanese...

Heroes:

since I'm a nurse, naturally, good ol' Florence Nightingale (although I hate her ideas about nurses being submissive to doctors)...if you include hotties: Mike Richter, Hugh Jackman, Paolo Montalban, and Piolo Pascual,...oh, and HE-MAN (and his ambiguously gay tendencies)!!!!!And of course, my new superhero, Hard Gay! WHOOOOOOOO!

What I'm thankful for this Thanksgiving

For my (unbelievable) 100th blog entry, I decided to go the semi-sentimental way and give thanks for the people and things I am especially appreciative of this year: I am thankful for my continui...

One month into my marriage...

Rather than backtracking and dating things as if they happened yesterday, I'll just summarize everything in one long-ass entry.  Things have been becoming rough during my one-month tenure as a nu...

I declare today "I-bow-down-to-the-Almighty-Amy" day

"Why?"  you ask?  Well, if not for my baby mentioning his sister's 1st wedding anniversary during our conversation tonight, it wouldn't have dawned on me that exactly a year ago today w...
