I'd like to meet:
REAL PEOPLE. I tend to attract people into my life that are a lot like me, who like to have fun and enjoy good conversation, who are caring, understanding, easy-going, honest, REAL type of people. Having a sense of humor is a MUST!!................ I don't care for drama queens or attention whores or people who are constantly complaining about everyone and everything. Negative attitudes have no place in my life. Dealing with my own negative attitude at times is all I can handle!!! If I haven't known you for years, and if you haven't invested a great deal into our friendship then please keep your drama to yourself! I'm not an uncaring person but I've learned over the years that the only thing we control is ourselves: our attitudes and behavoir. We do not have the ability to change others, only to influence their ways of thinking. I do what I can to help others, but I'm aware of my limitations. So if you're a sour-puss or a whiner, look the other way. If you like meeting people, stimulating conversations, having fun, and cherish the value of friendships, message me! July 4, 2007: *a quick rant*After this evenings events, much like many others I have had meeting people in person from this site, I felt it important to explain myself a bit further. I'm here to make friends, nothing more. I'm not asking for your hand in marriage. The door of opportunity to find someone special is open (if you are that person, awesome, if not... nice to meet you new friend), but friendship is all I'm looking for or expect. I don't promise to offer more, nor am I necessarily wanting more.If you ask me out for a cup of coffee or to shoot some pool, etc., please don't have any expectations other than having a good time and making a new friend. I don't care what color you are, what shape you are, how much money you have in your pocket, or what kind of car you drive (as long as it gets us there and back without breaking down, it's all good!) Friendship has no color, size, or limit so why should I? BUT.... I ask the same of all of you. DON'T JUDGE ME. Am I beautiful? NO. Am I grotesque? NO. Am I skinny? NO. Am I rotund? NO. The point: I'm just an average girl. I'm not anything special in the looks department, let alone anything else. I try to put up various pics so you get an idea of what I look like, but PLEASE don't think I'm anything special or you will be sorely disappointed. I'd rather you go into this with no expectations and be pleasantly surprised than for me to make you think I'm wonderful and then have to experience the feelings I'll have when I see that look of disappointment on your face when we meet for the first time. I try to not care what others think and hide behind a cool exterior, but I'm only human and beneath this skin a real heart beats. People don't have a clue what kind of damage they can do to another human being. DON'T do it to me.I'm not trying to put myself down. I think I can be a pretty cool person to get to know, but I do want to be realistic about things. I'm not everyone's type and I,too have my preferences about what I like in a man physically, so I totally understand. If I'm too short for you, that's ok. If I'm too hispanic for you, that's ok. If I'm too smart for you, well that's ok, too. This IS about friendship, remember? So if I have to dress a certain way, look a certain way, have a certain color skin, work at a certain job, or have a particular dress size that you deem *worthy* in order to be your FRIEND....STEP AWAY FROM THE KEYBOARD, REVERSE, REWIND, GO BACK, RETURN TO SENDER, NO FORWARDING ADDRESS...... errr I mean to say, click off my profile please. Openings for new friends are available. Only friendly people need apply. Thank you and have a nice day :)DOH...one more thing: if you mean to stand me up, at least have big enough cajones to give me a call and say you changed your mind so that I might not wait on you for 2 or more hours. That's some serious video game time I'm wasting dude!
