Coprophagia

About Me

The Origin:
It began during 1991 in Memphis, Tennessee when two guitarists, Julian Hollowell and Justin Rimer, formed the band Exhume. After line-up difficulties and little progress due to location and lack of musicians in 1993 Exhume relocated to South Florida and became known as Coprophagia (named after one of Albert Fish’s many sexual fetishes).
Originally Coprophagia was a four piece with "Crazy" Larry Hawke (ex-Hateplow, ex-Malevolent Creation) on drums/vocals and Josh Barohn (ex-Suffocation, ex-Autopsy) on bass. The band soon became a 3 piece when Josh went MIA and remained that way until it disbanded sometime in 1995.
The demo was never released and due to the band’s demise, the songs never received a proper mix and master. For that reason, the songs presented are the last known rough mixes from the 1994 recording session.
