{we are amar} (women righteously engaged in art music activism & revolution) is part of the collective dedicted to the celebration of women within the arts, as well as gender equality in all aspects of society. Through the {we are amar} shows we hope to raise awareness concerning issues of sexism and female oppression that occur within our own community as well as globally.
To us, a feminist is anyone who believes in equal rights for all women, as well as ending sexism and all forms of female oppression. We are not afraid to say that we are feminists. We are not afraid to say that {WE ARE AMAR}. Are you?
