Trident - NEW SONGS UP!

About Me

Since late 2005 Trident has been pounding energetic riffs and stompin' stages with relentless attitude. The lineup anno 2009 is Tuomas Pekkola on vocals and guitars, Wille Lönnström on lead guitars, Matias Löfman on bass and backing vocals and Jukka Haapala on drums. The live energy is delivered with an edgy sound and the spinal tappian odyssey has no end in sight.
2008 saw the birth of Chained to Routines, Trident's debut recording. It has gained positive feedback and its successor is in the works. Locally the band has gained reputation as a tough live band.
Musically Trident gets its groove from the founding fathers of this music style, but strives to mix it up with a fresh vision. Hardcore and metal are molten together in a unique fashion. The 90's sound made a huge impact on the band and it can be sensed in the music.
"We cherish the values of those who laid the pavement for us to walk, those who made hardcore and those who chose to combine it to the relentless attitude of metal. We seek to find new ways of passing this legacy on, something that combines all we are worth for with all those before us have laid their souls in. This is what justifies Trident and makes us tick."
