Hailing from Sydney, Australia, with a passion for music second to non and a background in guitar and drumming, Geoff Atlas entered the thriving rave scene in the late 1990’s playing everything from uplifting Trance, driving Hard Dance, Happy Hardcore, House and Breaks.
His motto is simple : Hard - Fast - Melodic - Uplifting - Funky
Geoff Atlas quickly grew a reputation for his energetic sets from the smallest crowds within nightclubs to Sydney’s premier events such as Transmission and the world renowned Sublime at Home Nightclub. He has supported revered international artists such as Ferry Corsten, Organ Donors, Kevin Energy, Scooter, Scott Brown, Brisk, Sharkey, Marcel Woods, Brenden Hart, Vandal and Scott Project to name few.
His tireless support for the scene he helped grow and loved so much, was rewarded by Home Nightclub with a position on the Operations team, which for the following 3 years, saw him working alongside and promoting such DJ’s as Paul Van Dyke, Armin Van Buuren, Roger Sanchez and Armand Van Helden.
Through out the years, Geoff has honed his DJ skills and broadened his musical tastes. Now he is regarded as one of only a handful of DJ’s in Sydney, capable of mastering all styles of dance, along with the ability to play one night trance at rave to play house the following night.
A respected DJ and supporter of the industry, Geoff Atlas has been involved in the numerous planning of club nights, events and the continual development of new DJ’s into the scene he so passionately loves.
Further recognition was never to far away with Geoff Atlas in 2008 taking on the high profile and scene leading role of General Manager for the largest Australian dance music distributor and DJ equipment retailer, Vinyl Warning & Store DJ in Sydney. To couple this role, Geoff Atlas is also a key developer of the infamous Dirty Habits series of parties and resident DJ
Whilst most ponder the future of the scene, Geoff Atlas has taken full control of his music career working on various projects in the studio & with planned Australian and international touring in early 2010 to the United States, Europe and the United Kingdom to name a few.
