I love to read!Current events,international affairs,entertainment,politics,if it's in front of me I'll read it! Writing.Sometimes it's a story,other times I'll leave a note to whomever just for an excuse to write, I just love to document everything!! If you know me you will know I am very sentimental,so I like to keep sentimental things,such as,my kid's first shoes,pampers(clean ones guys),recital outfits,teeth,every certificate ever won. I even have their bandaids from their first shots!! Yeah I know kind of gross, but the bandaids are so small and so cute. I even still have my prom corsage...my prom invitation...my prom dress,(just kidding,about the dress) I am currently putting together a quilt for my daughters with all of their old t-shirts,baby clothes,and other stuff...I haven't figured out if I'm just a really good mom or an old lady trapped in a young person's body. Most of all I am interested in other peoples' lives. I love to hear other peoples' stories, it just amazes me because we are all different but the same in so many ways. Chasing stories,investigating,and getting right down to the source of matters gives me an adrenaline rush like no other. It's a good thing I'm a journalism major. Couldn't see myself in any other field.
And so...if you know me then you know that I was born with the natural gift of singing but Im having some stuff going on with my vocal cords and I'm going to need surgery so keep me in your prayers.....I know all of this is happening for a reason but I can't wait to sing again and when I do it will be all for his glory!

My grandparents, they have been married for 49 years,worked really hard,raised seven kids,and now they are chillin because they were able to take early retirement.Thats beautiful!I know this is cliche, but my mommy! She raised 3 daughters primarily by herself. She passed on the strong,black woman,i can make it through anything gene to me, and I love her for that!

prah. She is a perfect example to young black women that we can rise above and beyond any statistic that has been set up for us. She came from poverty and overcame situations that many people don't recover from...She's a living legend...she's grateful,she hasn't lost herself,and most of all she gives back...she taught me that giving abundantly from the heart only reaps more blessings!

am single because a lot of men can't seem to be able to deal with a woman who knows what she wants. I am focused, I know who I am and where I am going. A woman such as myself should not intimidate you. You should be proud to have someone who strives for success,so any man who can be secure with a focused,positive,god-fearing woman, without feeling like he's being left behind is a heroe.Someone who doesn't believe that providing for his family makes him God,I call them heroes because I know they are out there but I haven't found him yet.
