ANCHORS came together after a return to a hometown from the West Coast, gathering best friends in the same room, and letting the music speak for the love of it. Creating folk anthems for both the audience and for themselves, their unique blend of "stoner country" works, and it works well.

Now a somewhat seasoned vet of the eclectic Ottawa music community, Steve St. Pierre is joined by pals Joel Soucy (ex-Brights, The Wishlist) on bass, and long-time collaborators and brothers Alex and Sam Seguin on drums and guitar respectively. Epic and mature in sound; ambitious and determined in drive - the boys are ready to rock and roll quietly.
