Influences: Ancient Korean music masters, Korean National Living Treasures, Korean pansori singers & the deep Shamanic arts of Korea. In addition to my Korean roots, I have been influenced by the many great musicians from the countries where I have performed in Asia, India, Indonesia, Japan and elsewhere. When I came to America of course, the profound John Cage, the great experimental musicians and the improvisors. But at the core of everything is my Korean tradition.
