About Me

History was made on the 21st of May. MajorcA was born and she was ready to play. The eldest daughter born on foreign land, little did she know that there was a bigger plan. Growing up moving from military base to base, she discovered her love of music and couldn't sit in place. Banging and making noise at the age of seven, she knew one day music would be her heaven. She showed her interest to her mom and dad, and her talents they decided to never let it go bad. Piano, violin, clarinet and the drums, would accompany the songs in her head that she would hum. Moving once again to the suburban outskirts of Augusta, the same home town of the original soul brotha. James Brown, for those who don't know.Yall need to wake up, you too slow! She felt as though there was a cultural void. The lack of it caused her to be annoyed. After graduating high school, one of the top in her class. She decided to leave the town as though it was already in her past. Enrolled as a freshman at Florida A&M, she forwent a music major and made the "safer" decision. PT is what she thought she should study to have a steady job and some consistent money. However, she found a culture that was missing in her home town. A culture which has the BooM that BaP, the hip-hop sound. A b-girl she became because she thought her freestyles were rather lame. The music and the moves set her to another groove. After experiencing a few scrapes and a really bad bruise, she linked up with a hip-hop renaissance dude. He did all FOUR elements to her surprise, but there was one that really caught her eyes. Two turntables and mixer and many records to go with that, she made sure to keep up with this cat. Learning more and more about the craft, she saved and kept some money in her stash. She bought her own and and flip her name backwards. DJ AcrojaM is what people call her afterwards. Breaking down the name to a prefix and an ending. Acro- is the highest point of jamming. She joined forces with Dj's by the name of Clean and Venom and she running Tallahassee with them and her Technics and Denons. ACRO finally realized her bigger plan, that's to entertain the masses and make them JAM! BE SURE TO CLICK ON THE NAV BUTTON TO CHECK OUT MY AWESOME EVENTS AND OTHER STUFF!
