Grown to a balanced and experienced musician, I'm faithfull to what I consider to be my personal drumming signature but I also like alternative choices and experimentation, somewhere between the creative and the practical sides of the instrument.
My whole attitude towards drumming is also a reflection of my universe of influences. I try to combine into the same drum-kit different worlds of "rock 'n roll" drum playing.
On one side I try to approach some rythmic patterns inspired basically by Neil Peart (Rush) and most recently by Gavin Harrison (Porcupine Tree) and on the other side I bring in some of the "metal" style of double-bass drum players like Mikkey Dee (Motorhead) and Snowy Shaw (Triple X), just to name a few.
A self-taught drummer since I was 16 years old, I've played dozens of studio sessions and hundreds of live gigs when I was with The Fire (1992/1996), Flow (1996/1999) and Freakshow (2000/2002).
I'm the drummer in the "prog-rockers" FramePictures since 2004, a band where I can express all that defines myself as a musician. In FramePictures, I can make the music that mirrors my drumming style.
