Stephenie Hargrove Biography:Hi! I’m Stephenie!!!That is typically the first thing you will hear when Stephenie Hargrove enters a room.Stephenie grew up in Antioch, California walking next to the San Joaquin River with her dog at sunrise along the train tracks, writing songs with a strong mindset of hope as dawn would break. She would sing drawing inspiration from the sight of the glimmering sun on the surface of rippling water. This was her place of inspiration. Like that river, Stephenie knew she had to keep rolling. So, just as the tides go in and out, she knew it was her time to leave California and move to Nashville. With her eyes full of dreams, her heart full of music, and a car full of her life (including Mom and her dog, Sassy), Highway 5 carried them south, and Interstate 40 led them east to Music City.Upon arrival in Nashville, Stephenie immediately began attending Belmont University with an emphasis in their top-rated Music Business program. Stephenie also studied the craft of songwriting and attended various songwriting workshops. Since recently earning her Bachelor’s degree from Belmont University, Stephenie has been performing at fairs, venues, parties, and working in the studio.In September, Stephenie was chosen to sing the National Anthem twice for the Dickson County Fair, which has crowds of over 10,000 Nashville area residents. This October she performed at a cancer research benefit in Ashland City and recorded a brand new Christmas song that is part of a compilation with ten other artists which will be distributed to over 200,000 American military troops through an organization named Boots ‘n’ Bulbs. In November, Stephenie opened for Buddy Jewell, Wade Hayes and Chris Young at the historic Fiddle and Steel saloon, which is located in Nashville’s Historic Printer’s Alley. In December she opened for another Nashville Star alumni, Erika Jo.When Stephenie is not performing she’s planning animal rescue charity events, and working for various music industry companies. Stephenie continues to help animals; in fact, she just started an animal charity operation called, Stephenie Hargrove Presents. This non-profit works to raise money for animal welfare organizations. At her most recent event, The First Annual Music City Harmony Howling for Hounds, her organization earned hundreds of dollars for the Nashville Humane Association, helping to combat homeless and abandoned animals in the Nashville community. Each Wednesday morning, you can hear Stephenie on her weekly radio spot along with the great people of WKDF 103.3. This radio program presents listeners with information about the Nashville Humane Association’s Pets of the Week up for adoption and upcoming events.
