But the root of my magic goes back much further. I was heavily influenced by my grandfather's "magical" effects as a child. This side of the family, which is Native American from Sonora, Mexico, quickly engaged my attention with their special relation to every magical living thing around them. Since then I have trained in the magical arts for 23 years and has developed a unique style of my own that enables me to combine magic and comedy in a very enjoyable and personable manner. I began performing professionally at the age of 13 and this pursuit has enabled me to perform throughout Latin America and Europe. With seamless fluidity I have been able to merge the ordinary with the impossible, which, over time, has earned him the nickname "MASTER OF THE OBVIOUS." I attended Carnegie Mellon University and eventually received a BFA for Painting from Cooper Union. Of course, a much less chronicled and revealed education was received in the seedy and nefarious streets of East LA and Mexico. Suffice it to say I learned a great deal about body language and the street value of watches. A further great influence on my magic has been his avid studies of ancient philosophy, religions, and psychology. They have given me much of the nuances necessary to create the atmosphere by which magic is revealed.I have performed for such celebrities as Ethan Hawke, Martha Stewart, Katie Curick, Troy Aikman, Susan Sarandon, Shawn Alexander and Judd Hersch.
