About Me

I first started playing bass guitar at age 8, and began playing for audiences at age 10. By age 15 I was playing original jazz/rock fusion, opening for artists such as Lenny White and Brand X, later being produced by Lenny in the studio. Over time, playing in every project I could get my hands on, I developed fluidity in a wide variety of musical styles, including Pop, Rock, Funk, Blues, Swing, Country, R&B, Latin and Folk. Formal training began as intense ear training and improvisation, followed later by more traditional aspects of music theory. After college, and a 2 year stint as a computer programmer, I returned to New York to pursue music full time. As a freelance musician performing in a wide variety of bands throughout the world, I've had the opportunity to work with artists such as Jimmy Page, Alana Davis, The Uptown Horns and The Reputations. I have recorded albums, soundtracks and commercials for producers including Dr. Freeze, Genya Ravan, Asaf Shor and John Wonderling. Currently on the road with the Elite Showband, I've had the opportunity to see the world from the tip of South America to the ends of the Asian continent.

new video

Hey, I posted a video. Have a look. It's just me playing along with a sequence, but it's a cool little tune. Perhaps I'll do something more involved in the future.
