Profile GeneratorThis is Jealous - a journalist/producer/DJ extraordinaire repping Milton Keynes. Jealous has been DJing since 2000 when Jungle and Drum n Bass was his chosen musical weapon, although made the transition to the Garage scene in 2001. He has DJed in his hometown of Milton Keynes at clubs such as Nexus (RIP), Yates (RIP), Empire (RIP), and Buddha Blue and has been flying the flag for 4x4/Bassline since 2003. He tried to introduce Bassline to Liverpool in 2004, but the strength of the Scouse House phenomenon was too much, despite having contacts with then-massive producers Ultrabeat ('Pretty Green Eyes'). He has also DJed in Liverpool, Sheffield, Warrington, Chester and has held club nights in various locations. Production wise, Jealous has been solid since 1996, when he was a mere 13-years-old, and has produced 2-step, Grime, House, Bassline, and R'n'b for many vocalists and MCs across the country, including Statik (London), Da Marvel (London), Feel No Way (Northampton), 51st State (Mike GLC) (Manchester), Vega Meta (Manchester), Sean J (Milton Keynes), and many, many more unsigned artists. Jealous has started as a freelance journalist in 2004 and worked for magazines such as the legendary RWD and FFWD (Big up Danny, London), Ahead of the Game (Bedford), Howlin' (Milton Keynes) and Seen (Northampton), and Fabulous (Milton Keynes) although has recently retired aged 25.
