I am not Duncan himself!! For any questions pls ask me
Duncan spent the first thirteen years of his life in Dorset before relocating to South Devon where he would discover ‘his voice’ in his final years at school. Performing with a wave of embryonic bands Duncan performed at local holiday resorts which were to give him his initial introduction into the music industry.
In 2001 Duncan united with Blue to form one of the UK’s and the worlds most successful boy bands. By 2005 Blue had enjoyed 40 No.1 singles world wide, sold 13 million records, had three sell out tours, were awarded two Brits including ‘Best Pop Act’, two MTV awards including MTV ASIA – ‘Best International Group’ and a host of other prestigious accolades.
In early 2005 it was time for Duncan to pursue his already recognized solo career. Duncan had previously entered the singles chart with his first project outside of Blue with ‘I Believe My Heart’, a duet with singer Keedie from Andrew Lloyd Weber’s musical ‘Woman In White’. The track reached No.2 in the charts and was a huge success.
2006 saw Duncan release his first single ‘Sooner or Later’ and second single ‘Can’t Stop a River’ from his début album ‘Future Past’. Keen to explore all opportunities Duncan has also ventured into TV presenting; credits include BBC’s City Hospital, GMTV, and Soapstar Superstar. In January 2007 he guest presented BBC1s ‘The National Lottery Show’ which goes out live every Wednesday and Saturday to over 7million viewers and will be returning again at intervals throughout the year.
2007 has seen Duncan appearing in the return of ITVs hit prime time show Dancing On Ice. Reaching up to 12 million viewers each week, the nation saw Duncan excel on the ice with partner Maria Filipov and get to the final alongside Kyran Bracken and Clare Buckfield. Following this success Duncan was part of the sell-out Dancing on Ice Tour performing at a number of venues across the UK including Wembley Arena, Newcastle, Sheffield and Nottingham.
Duncan has recently completed a 10 week run playing Billy Flynn in the hit West End show ‘Chicago’.
