*I am from Sydney, Australia and have always been interested in music. I began with piano lessons, and then moved onto guitar, which is now my main focus. I have been playing guitar and singing for about 6 years now, picking up such instruments as drums, bass guitar, lap steel guitar, zyladrum and harmonica along the way. I just love entertaining!
I also write songs along the styles of easy listening, acoustic, reggae, soft-rock, folk, blues, surf and anything rootsy. My main influences are Ben Harper, Jack Johnson, Xavier Rudd, John Butler Trio, Bob Marley, Donavon Frankenreiter, The Beautiful Girls, Paul Simon, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd and any other musician with similar styles.
*I have written many songs, and have recorded only 7 of them at a home studio.
*In 2007, I provided the entertainment at the “Reel Deal Short Film Festival Awardsâ€, run by Bryan Brown and Rachel Ward. The ceremony was hosted by comedian Anh Do, who asked for my autograph and told the audience that one day he would “sell it for a million bucksâ€. Many film producers asked for my business card to use my music in their productions, including Azure Productions, who are making a feature film with Molly Meldrum.
*I am a participant in the Bankstown Talent Advancement Program (TAP) and was in Sydney’s Talent Development Project (TDP) last year. TAP has allowed me to do a music tour to such places as Broken Hill, where I was privileged enough to have the opportunity to work musically with indigenous aboriginals and was also made a guest on ABC radio three times in one week. I have also done gigs at many local events such as The Yagoona Autumn Fare, Bankstown ArtCars Festival, Villawood Festival and Bankstown BestFest. I played at the Annandale Hotel supporting The Tinku Band for their “Led Zeppelin At The Taj.†The Tinku Band decided to ask me to support them again a few months later at “Spectrum†in Darlinghurst and again at the Bridge Hotel at Rozelle.
*I have recently begun working with a band, which should be ready to play shows soon. Working with a band will allow me to stretch my repertoire to such genres as rock, funk, soul and anything else interesting or experimental we decide.
*I guess my ultimate dream is to share my messages and views with the world, through my music.
