Nicole A. Campfield, the eldest of 3, born to John and Linda Campfield, has become one of the most requested Gospel Singers in this time. From an early age Nicole has been singing, conducting, teaching, and playing the piano. Nicole began her singing career at an early age when she sang with her 2 siblings Cheri Campfield, John Campfield Jr., and her mother Linda Campfield. Nicole attributes her mother who took notice to the musical abilities in her daughter at a young age. She made sure the talents were nurtured by some of the best musicians WNY had to offer. Nicole was trained musically under accomplished pianists Hulit Curry, and Carol Varner. It was Carol Varner who insisted that her parents remove Nicole from public schooling and place her in the School of the Performing Arts in Buffalo, NY. From the teaching and musical knowledge received at the school of the Performing Arts Nicole developed her unique ear when it comes to teaching harmonies to choirs and groups/ensembles. While attending Buffalo Academy of Visual and Performing Arts, a youth ministry was birthed out of Nicole, and she formed a choir comprised of about 60 youth including band members, named "Youth For Christ". Growing up in the C.O.G.I.C. Nicole was taught the un-adulterated word of God first and foremost by the Late Bishop Leroy R. Anderson of the Prince of Peace Temple C.O.G.I.C. It was there that most of her musical ability and insight was gained regarding choir decorum, and musical leadership in the church. Under the leadership of Bishop James and Kathy Bowman, Nicole developed a passion for Praise and Worship, and from that ministry she was birthed into a well accomplished, and anointed Praise and Worship Psalmist. It was at Antioch FBH Church Nicole trained, and helped develop one of the best Praise and Worship Teams WNY had to offer. It was at Antioch Holiness Church where Nicole learned and understood the real meaning of Worship. Over the last 15 years Nicole has held positions in the FBH Church such as District Choir Director, Musical Director, and in the C.O.G.I.C. she was appointed Local Minister of Music, District Minister of Music, and State Director of Music and Fine Arts, under the Bishop Sedwick Daniels of Milwaukee, WI. Nicole has shared the stage with, opened for, and prepared singers for some of the best singers the gospel industry has to offer. Just to name a few she has worked with The One and Only Campfield Family, Kim Burrell, Krystal Rucker, James and Kathy Bowman, Dorinda Clark, Sarita Campbell and Truth, Demarka Wheeler, Pastor Drew Sheard, Ricky Dillard, Rance Allen, Aaron Lindsay,Kim Rutherford, and the list goes on. Nicole has coordinated many musicals, and conferences both locally and abroad. She has performed in plays/musicals, and has been a very positive influence to musicians and singers to follow.It is her desire to please God in everything that she does, and that is why she does not take her gifts, and calling lightly.
