Monday Jam

About Me

Myspace Layouts - Myspace Editor

Exactly when this unholy congregation of all things jam-worthy began is unknown, but it is thought to be around the turn of the millenium or thereabouts. It was instigated by two scruffy reprobates known as Phil and Paul who battered out blues rows until Phil got bored and took up procreation instead. Many jammers have, over the years, plumbed the very motherlode of Jam, memorable instances including two huge-haired Belgians ploughing through 'Jonny B Goode' in Flemmish, an entire Morris troupe giving phallic high-fives, and the immortal weekly massacre of 'Mojo Working' by all and sundry. The Jam continues to be a forum for bedroom musicians to emerge from their pits, for more experienced players to behave like psychotic musical orang-utans, and for many to cut their teeth on before going on to gigs of their own.Long may the musical madness reign. I love the Monday Jam and want to have its babies.
