M.A.L.Y.L. pronounced (Mäh-lil)(Ma-Lil) was formed in 2003. The members of Malyl came from various parts of the Tri-State to form one of the most revolutionary musical movements. For the past four years they spent their time mastering their craft, in an attempt to bring life back into the doldrums of the record industry. Within the central unit lies a unique blend of musicianship, lyrical dominance, and intellectual genius which allows the group to deliver a message seldom heard and rarely offered. With so many artists focused on material gain to justify their music, M.A.L.Y.L. brings a raw reality from their life into your home. In a world filled with prosperity, love, war, hate, pain, and all other emotions, we are only being exposed to one side of the spectrum; the high life. But most of us dont live in luxury, showered with diamonds and furs, buying and owning the big houses or the fresh cars. We live in the world of the hustle, the grind, the 9-5 overtime blue collar living, which is expressed thorughout the M.A.L.Y.L. body of work. We write what we live, we write what we love, and we love what we write.
Currently, they are working on material for the first official M.A.L.Y.L. mixtape release titled "M.A.L.Y.L CITY " due out Summer 2007. He also is working on production for Malyl's 2nd mixtape "Past, Present, Future" as well as "Casino City". Guest apperances range from all the Network artists, multipul Raw Dogs artists and many artists from the state of CT.
Right now you can catch Malyl every "Thirsty Thursday" at Bella Notte Upscale Nightclub. Spinning the lastest Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae and Reggaeton.
