About Me

2009: Always evolving, changing, twisting and turning with the tides. We experiment with different sounds, instruments, and musicians. Creating our own style of cosmic , haunting & hypnotic psychedelic music. Most recently in Elevator Tribe news, the band is recording tracks for a new album as well as rehearsing for the live experience. The Elevator Tribe Traveling Medicine Show set usually draws from a balance of original music and cover songs. We pay tribute to the 60's psych/garage scene, Bo Diddley, Johnny Thunders, Velvet Underground, Black Sabbath, and some old classics too. But still are a band founded on originality & improvisation, making it all our own psychedelic brand. Just looking for the right fit to complete our line up....We would like a flute player who can sing too, female vocals fit best /If interested let me know :{[email protected]}.In mid 2007 Elevator Tribe completed the soundtrack for an instructional Yoga DVD for West Palm Beach studio Productions, in Florida. Soothing meditation music has been the backdrop while working in the studio, and taking a break from touring. In 2007, "Space Theme Dreaming" was composed. A far out space-scape. This is yet to be released officially, or used for any soundtracks, BUT IS AVAILABLE.In 2006, "Elevator Dream" a/k/a "ELEVATOR SLEEP" was made, a 76minute album of relaxation/meditation/safe sleeping aid music mixed with ambiant animal sounds, water, and machines. This album is yet to be released officially, hoping the right label will want to pick it up.Extensive soundtrack music available for films and DVD's of all kinds, please inquire if you are a filmaker or producer interested in songs and atmospheric soundtrack music. If you are a hip hop artist, DJ, or rapper, beats are generated here at Dream Authority Music and can be composed to suit.In late 2007 The Elevator Tribe family album my space site and CD were completed. Music for children of all ages.Check in with this site, or drop a line to our email [email protected] for listening,-John StoutElevator Operator

A far out space exploration of driving beats, layers of soundscape, and explosive lyrics with both female and male voices. A key element is the song "She Rebuild Her Craft". About a woman built for space travel, who crash lands on earth, and has to rebuild her spaceship. In doing so, she provides an example for people of this planet, to reinvent their own creative identity.NEW DAY OF DARKNESS (2001) provides more of a unified band sound while still keeping atmospheric integrity. It features all female lead vocals, and a new elements like; mandolin, eukilyn, citar, and acoustic guitar. A collection of songs that give birth to many angels. For ELEVATOR TRIBE song samples & CDs for sale on line check out CDBABY.COMElevator Tribe Merchandise:Exclusive music offerings direct from the artist !! ))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))))------ -------THE ELEVATOR TRIBE TRAVELING MEDICINE SHOW Live Recordings, Outtakes Etc From the Archives********************************************Taken from Master Soundboards, Recorded in Stereo, Mastered and now available for the first time since the Elevator Tribe’s conception in 1996********************************************$8.00 per CD $2.00 shipping & handling (USA)*************************************************THE ELEVATOR TRIBE STUDIO:************************************************----- -- Instrumental Versions 2000-2001 1CD songs: Christine’s Dream, She Heard Voices, Watery Grave, Smoke Travels Fast, New Day Of Darkness, Keeper Of The Lost, She Rebuilds Her Craft, She’s Searching*************************************************** *******THE ELEVATOR TRIBE LIVE: ********************************************************---- ------Putney Hearth, Putney, VT. 6/21/97 1 CD Musicians: John Stout, Angela Krapovicky, Seth Chatfield *********************************************************8-- ---------Dying To Impress You Brattleboro, VT. 7/3/97 2 CDs Musicians: John Stout: Percussion Etc Mark Mynott: Percussion************************************************** **********-----------Harlow’s Pub Peterborough, NH. 3/21/98 2 CDs Musicians: John Stout: Drums/Vocals Cassandra Smith: Vocals/percussion Jonathan Murray: Guitar/Percussion Ken La Roche: Saxaphone ************************************************************ ----------Flat St. Brattleboro, VT. 2/20/99 2 CDS Musicians: John Stout: Drums/Vocals Holly Brewer: Vocals/Percussion Alexis Lyon: Percussion/Vocals Pete Wilson: Guitar****************************************************** ********-----------Flat St. Brattleboro, VT. 7/2/99 2 CDS Musicians: John Stout: Drums Jesse Atkinson: Bass Ember Tilton: Guitar Mike Fitzgerald: Guitar Nebulia: Digerirdoo************************************************** ************------------Commom Ground Brattleboro, VT. 8/24/00 1 CD Musicians: John Stout: Drums & Vocals, Ben Klein: Violyn & Vocals, Ember Tilton: Guitar, Nick Park: Cello, Mesha: Electric Bass ************************************************************ **-------------Jam at the Silo Dream Authority Music Guilford, VT. 1/6/2001 1 CD Musicians: John Stout: Drums & some Bass, Nick Park: Cello, Annelies Spykman: Vocals & some Bass, Luke Wyland: Keyboards & some Bass******************************************************** ******------------Radio Free Brattleboro 117 Main St Brattleboro, VT. 4/24/02 1 CD Musicians: John Stout: Lead Vocals/Bass Creed Dew: Drums Brian Kelly: Guitar****************************************************** ******-----------Bethel Arts Junction Bethel, CT. 5/8/2002 1 CD John Stout: Poetry & Vocals/Bass Creed Dew: Percussion************************************************** *********-----------Buttonwood Tree Middletown, CT. 5/10/02 1 CD John Stout & Creed Dew********************************************************* ***------------Capo’s Easthampton, MA. 5/11/02 2 CDs Musicians: John Stout: Vocals/Bass/Percussion, Creed Dew :Drums/Percussion Brian Kelly: Guitar guests appearance: Holly Miranda***************************************************** ****** ------------ Fire & Water Northampton, MA. 5/29/02 1 CD Musicians: John Stout: Vocals/Bass/Percussion Creed Dew: Guitar Larry Berger: Drums******************************************************* *****----------Fire & Water Northampton, MA. 6/26/02 1 CD Musicians: John Stout: Vocals & Bass, Creed Dew: Guitar, Pete: Drums******************************************************* *****------------Common Ground Brattleboro, VT. 8/6/03 1 CD Musicians: John Stout: Vocals/Bass Amber Nuite: Saxaphone, Trumpet, Percussion Brett Andersen: Guitar Brandie Starr: Vocals****************************************************** *******-----------Keene Music Festival Central Square Gazebo Stage 9/13/03 1 CD Musicians: John Stout: Lead Vocals/Bass/Drums Debra Lukan: Saxaphone/Digeridoo Robin Lane: Drums/Vocals Brett Andersen: Guitar Brandie Starr: Vocals Guest appearance: John Liiammaa: Recorders & Vocals****************************************************** *****
