I've been singing, writing and producing since the age of 14. After losing my father & mentor Joe Graham, a dynamic singer in his own right to a senseless act of violence, I founded, along with my cousins Jimmy Gates, Timzo Cameron and Jonothan Rasboro the hit R & B group "Silk".After runnin' with the fellas I moved on to pursue a solo career and was featured on the Jason's Lyric soundtrack starring Jada Pinkett-Smith and Allen Payne along with the group "Juice" and later released a single entitled "People's Party" that received rave reviews in my hometown Atlanta, GA as well as the southeast region. As a savvy entertainer, I also pride myself in relishing in the motto, “What you are is God’s gift to you and what you do is your gift to God”. This attitude along with my God given talent has allowed me to move freely into my own elements in the vastly competitive entertainment industry. That freedom has also allowed me to take chances in the film industry as well. I've appeared in films such as, “School Daze”, “Fled”, “Port Chicago Mutiny” and “Remember The Titans” and as also appeared in several popular television shows among them, “The Steve Harvey Show”, Moesha”, “Sister, Sister”, “The Parkers”, “Girlfriends”, “Half and Half” and “The X Files” respectfully.My influence does not merely stop at the studio and the screen hit, it extends to the stage where I've toured the country in the hit plays, “A Good Man Is Hard To Find II”, Tyler Perry’s, “I Can Do Bad All By Myself” and most recently “Just Be A Man About It”, "Man Of Her Dreams", “Secrets Of A Woman" (When Good Girls Go Bad) and "Every Good Man Ain't Gone" which I wrote, produced and directed.Upon moving to Los Angeles, I enrolled in professional directing, screenwriting and producing classes and gained major notoriety after writing, producing, co-directing and starring in my first independent feature film entitled, “Before Now”. Also writing and producing title cuts to the motion picture soundtracks for, “Before Now” and “Reciprocity”, which is another feature film I wrote and produced. Other stage plays I've also written are “A Woman’s Worth”, “Speak, I'm Listening!” (Teenage Realities) and An Urban Christmas Story (A Hip-Hop Musical) which is currently being converted into a children’s book and animated television special.Giving all the credit to My God, I have been blessed to get the attention of a lot of major players within Hollywood as a result of my bold no holds barred approach to this craft. With this in mind, I am currently putting the finishing touches on my upcoming solo album “The Evolution of Tyga Graham” which is sure to breathe a breath of fresh air into the industry.
