Funk N Chunk:
Ever since the first time you saw the "Nothing but a G Thang" video, you've had one dangerous, scandalously lurid fantasy: hosting a kicking backyard barbecue. Make it happen with a single phone call, with Funk N Chunk.
FNC's a full-service, hip-hop-powered catering service, started at an East Bay college party when somebody asked grillmaster/DJ Jupiter Henry if he “did this for a livingâ€; the business was born when he said "Yes", and handed him a bill. While his crew cooks up everything from bbq'd oysters to garlic-rosemary salmon, anyone with a robust colon will go for gourmet carnivorage like the thickly sauced Bourbon-Coffee Spareribs, Pulled Pork (with the same booze-caffeine treatment), or Bleu Cheese and Mustard Butter Stuffed Niman Ranch Steaks. (Damn.) Tunes-wise, beyond hip-hop, they'll happily blare anything from funk to rock, to bluegrass; they'll also spin mash-ups of those genres ("Oh Brotha, Where Art Thou"?).
If you have no backyard, Jupiter and co. also host FnC Fridays at Danny Coyle’s, nights billed as “hyphy and funk from 10-2, cocktail specials and horny yuppies" -- who are clearly there for their own lurid fantasy, of having ta' find a contraceptive.

Freddie DeVeyra
"Future"
San Francisco, California
Freddie Future takes the lead with his crafty synth creations and cosmic turntable antics. his outrageous vocalizations will cause your nostril hairs to stand erect with gut-wrenching-thizz face-inducing grime and a severe dose of euphoric, smoke-till-you-drop ecstasy. all attendees of lives shows should be aware of the 100 meter radius from the stage known to some as the panty drop zone. listen at your own risk.
Cyrus Wong-Weissman
"C-Dub"
Whale Gultch, California
C-Dub lays it down fat with home grown earth funk, orgasm inspiring space rock, and surreal soundscapes from beyond. his powerful subsonic emissions are theorized to be capable of resonating in subspace, creating a series of violent low frequency shockwaves in space time. some scientists speculate that events of this type have triggered several apparent "natural" disasters, including the 1989 loma prieta quake.
Matt Zipkin
"Zippy"
Burlingame, California
Zippy, zips up and down the frets of his instrument, you'll know why we call this guy "Zippy!" Burning through his LesPaul like a cosmic astroid desintergrating through our atmosphere, Zip hurles impossible harmonies with psychedelic-induced melodies that will flip your emotions from one end of the cosmos to the other.
Chris Wing
"Wingman"
Milliwake, Wisconsin
Also known as "MCTHFG," settles for nothing less than bone-crushing bass and bloody, ulcerated eardrums when in comes to bangin out the beats. but don't be fooled by his machine-like stamina and precision.... he's got trippy live knob twistin' chops that can make his machinedrum sound like povoroti choking on a chicken bone.

Sounds Like: Some tracks are dirty & grimy. Some are hella chill & ambient. Some sound electro & bassy, & some even sound jazzy & R&Bish. Some sound psychedelic & dubbed out.... In general, it's a cross between underground and mainstream. Its a twist of electronic-based or sampled drums, along side live-recorded instruments and analog synths.
