Mark is a Singer/Songwriter/Multi-Instrumentalist and seasoned performer. He has played in various bands in various genre's around Melbourne. These bands inlcude "Bricks and Mortar", "Sergeant Trouser", "Overnite Express",The High Tides and "CROWSFEET".Mark has played in various venues from 50 people to 20,000 people. The venues and places he has played are :The Barleycorn Hotel The Arthouse The Dan O'Connell Don't Tell Tom The Montrose Festival 2006 The Pepper Green Festival 2007 The Bendigo Sonic Arts Festival 2006,2007 The Basin Music Festival 2006,2007,2008 and the upcoming 21st March 2009 The Hawthron Football Club family days in 2007, 2008 and The Grand Final Celebration day 2008. The Criterion Hotel Rushworth The Shamrock Hotel Bendigo The UK Hotel in Bendigo The Bridgewater Hotel in Bridgewater The Corner Hotel The Cornish Arms Hotel Paddy's Tavern in Ferntree Gully The Oaktree Tavern The Basin The Acorn On The Forest - The Basin The Sauvignon Cellars - Kew The Laundry - Fitzroy Hopscotch Cafe- Elsternwick The Windermere Hotel - BendigoHe has also continued to do 4 or 5 part brass arrangements (trumpet/euphonium/trombone)"Brass" session work for bands such as Parker, Veil, Farook,The Pryor Theory and The Vagrants.
mp3.com.au/SergeantTrouserMark is also an active volunteer in the music community. He is a past Honorary Secretary of The Croydon Citizen's Bands 2005 and 2006. He is a member of The MMF Music Managers Forum (Self Managed Artist), The Vice President of The Independent Musos Network, A mentor for bands such as Frozen Compass, Cognito and Shannon Kennedy. He has also reviewed acts on JJJ unearthed,fasterlouder and local networks.
