Andy omokaro is a naturally gifted and blessed artist with a solid, fundamental musical principles.He left nigeria to the western world in the early 70s, while he was still underage as a dancer, percussionist. singer and sometimes on the bass guitar.
He formed the musical band A.SHANGO with a fusion of Afro-Funky-Reggae in the 80s.
They inaugurated the famous "ZIMBA INTERNATIONAL MUSIC HALL MILANO" where artists like : FELA KUTI-SUNNY ADE-MANU DI BANGO-SALIF KEITA-TONY ALLEN-ANGELIQUE JO-JOHNNY CLEG-ALPHA BLONDY-MIRIAM MAKEEBA-OSIBISA-YELLOW MAN-ZIGGY MARLEY-STEEL PULSE-JIMMY CLIFF-ITALS has performed.This was era of black intergration in Italy.

In 2007, He wrote a song for the movie-soundtrack "VOCE DEL VERBO AMORE" titled "Ugie Mado" (African Folklore) with STEFANIA ROCCA an italian female popular star as an actress (Warner Chapell).

Andy Omokaro actually, is the senior brother of Bright Omokaro (Alias 10-10) THE FORMER DEFENDER OF THE NIGERIAN NATIONAL FOOTBALL TEAM (GREEN EAGLES).
