I'm never very good at filling these things in, though no one ever reads them, and if you're here you probably know who I am already... I'm about 5'4", brownish hair, I have two eyes, legs and arms. I live, unfortunately, in Nottingham; spend entirely too much time in the pub... uhm.. I've wasted 8 years of my life in Djanogly City Academy... but I'm free of there now, and looking for something much better. I have an idea of sorts, though. yeah.

My Interests

Spirituality, music, art, complaining, having a good rant, enjoying a laugh and a joke with my friends, drinking, being outside, being inside, reading, being in bed, being in bed with someone else. The usual things you'd expect.

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet someone interesting, someone with a good story to tell who may also be willing to listen. Preferably someone with a killer sense of humour. If we're being shallow and vulgar then I'll describe Him: 5'8" ish, blonde, hypnotising blue eyes, the most wonderful embrace...yeah, I'm dreaming. Nevermind.Your results:

Music:

Yeah I like music. I try to find something positive about most types of music, although that's really difficult with some of the crap out there. Even so, I'll probably give it a go... Given the choice; metal, classic rock, and occasionally some of the newer stuff goes down quite well.

Movies:

Films are good too, they mean you can sit in the warm for atleast 85 minutes, and then migrate to the pub and talk about what you've just watched!! As with music, I'll give pretty much anything a chance, except Bollywood. Generally like things that make me think, or have a sizeable amount of graphic violence in... if that's what I'm in the mood for.

Television:

I like a bit of television too, though not as much as you'd expect, doing everything else pretty much fills my day. I can veg in front of almost anything. Most Sci-fi is good, i'm a bit of a Trekkie at heart thanks to my mum, really enjoyed Rome when that was on, Boston Legal's good for a laugh... uhm. TV is good.

Books:

I do thoroughly enjoy reading, I just don't tend to have the times these days. Some Barker, Brookmyre, Tolkien, Poe, Pratchett, and a little Dahl (to take me back to my youth)Books are always going to be there, inside a book you are guaranteed to find the answers to your questions. If you don't, you're probably not reading it right. Applicable to all books except religious literature (lol)

Heroes:

I don't think there's anyone famous I'd aspire to be like, and it's far too cliché to say "my mum's my hero" although... I guess the closest thing is the knowledge that I can achieve what I want, if I want it truly. On a small side note, though, there are some people I have met so-far who possess qualities I would love to emulate, I'm just not naming names, you should know who you are.

My Blog
