The Chaddock Level

About Me

Formed in 2006 with nothing but two acoustic guitars and fingers to play them with, The Chaddock Level quickly produced an array of mellow, emotive yet uplifting songs that began the journey to a sound which has undeniably become their own.

Summer 2008's lack of sunshine brought with it a huge change for the band, with the aquisition of a drummer and a bassist. Now, the resulting sound, could be heard from many of Manchester's best unsigned venues resulting in a wave of interest from various sources and some big gigs for the band.

Consistently writing and perfecting their assortment of songs, The Chaddock Level have landed upon a highly matured sound and an energetic live show, uncommon in relatively new bands.

"A chilled sound which resembles Dashboard Confessional and Death Cab for Cutie is impressive in its ambiguity. All the members play at a high standard especially the drummer who not only keeps the band tight and together but also impress the crowd with a technical proficiency which has a very mature sound.
