About Me

"It’s a powerful and damn catchy slice of debut indie-rock...". RAVE Magazine
"Haigh's sound carries elements of Karen O's grunge in Yeah Yeah Yeah's but also Juanita Stein's grace in the Howling Bells, finding a favourable middle ground between spunk and punk" RAVE Magazine"Dark, sweet and melancholic indie-pop, the music of Sarah Haigh has already received comparisons to the likes of Love Outside Andromeda ..." Time Off Described as "visceral power-pop" by RAVE magazine, Sarah Haigh combines dark themes with raw power and melodic charm. Haigh's second EP, the dark and driving 'Hurricane', contains hints of grunge and potency reminiscent of Love Outside Andromeda and Howling Bells.
In 2007 Haigh released the 'Lost Boy' EP in her home town of Brisbane, debuting at no 1 on 4ZZZfm's independent chart. The new release, Hurricane, will be launched at a special show at the Zoo on 21 May 2009 & can be purchased online at www.rockinghorse.net and in independent records stores or online through itunes
