DON'T MESS WITH JOHNNIE!!!

I'm a married guy with 2 kids, living in Pitt Meadows, British Columbia (just outside of Vancouver). I grew up in the 80's listening to all the Hair Bands (yeah, I DID have a mullet back then!). I have played the guitar since my teens and I am beginning to return to some of those metal/hard rock tunes whenever I pick up a guitar. One of my all-time favorite bands is WINGER, in fact, my 4-year old son was named "Reb" (named after virtuoso guitarist, Reb Beach).
Since I graduated University in 1992, I have been involved in community support & rehabilitation, working with individuals with various disabilities, mental health issues, addictions, etc. I recently ended a job as a Rehabilitation Worker (counselling survivors of traumatic brain injuries) in order to become a Family Outreach Counsellor for a local community services organization. I look forward to continuing my efforts to help others. I know that I'm not "Mother Theresa", but I believe that EVERYONE can make a difference in this world --- it's often the little things that we do for each other every day, that create the most lasting change.
Although I may sound serious, I'm really a big kid at heart. I used to collect toys (when I was younger & had more expendable cash), & I continue to LOVE a variety of CULT and HORROR movies. If anyone has any questions regarding movies, I'm your man!
