About Me

I am a 16 year old musician. I play guitar including classic rock, hard rock, metal, rhythm & blues and classical. I also study music theory and play classical piano and violin. In the last few months, I've begun classical composition for piano, guitar and violin.
I recorded my first rock demo when I was 14. The demo was produced by Bob Kulick (Grammy-award winning producer of Motorhead and KISS) and Brett Chassen. One of the tracks on this demo, "Failure to Comply," is my arrangement based on an original song I wrote with Stalefish, a local band. "Adam's Blues" has a Van Halen influence, which I'm sure you'll be able to detect. Freeway Jam is based upon the original tune by Jeff Beck. This demo earned me an endorsement from ENGL-AMPS.
Also at the age of 14, I began performing on the Sunset Strip with a band Stalefish. We performed at The Whisky a Go-Go, The Roxy and several other places around town. Our set list included mostly original titles as well as cover songs from Guns N Roses, Led Zeppelin and others. More recently, I performed on the Strip and at other Los Angeles venues with a band named VENT, formed by bass player Mike Starzec.
At 15, I attended GRAMMY Camp, sponsored by the GRAMMY Foundation. I was the youngest musician and one of only 4 guitarists throughout the nation accepted to the program. At GRAMMY Camp, I had the honor and opportunity of playing with the legendary band Earth Wind & Fire (see pictures).
Currently, I attend Santa Monica High School where I play violin and cello in 2 different orchestras. This past summer, I was accepted into GRAMMY Camp for the 2nd year in a row, where I had the honor of recording at the famous Capital Records studio in Hollywood. Gadgetea is one of the tracks that I wrote with OT's Dirty Magic at Grammy Camp in 2008 and recorded at Capital Records.
Recently I participated in a public service announcement sponsored by Peace Jam. The PSA was produced by Todd M. Felderstein in which I acted alongside musicians Ellis Hall, Bobby Watson and Kellie Blaise.
