About Me

Francesco Baudazzi, aka Obtane, began to play music in 1994 supporting minimal and dub techno, almost Basic Channel and Chain Reaction related material. In the following years he decides to insert broken electro beats in his minimalist vision of electronic dance music, getting so a more articulated sound who characterizes his sets. In 2006 he starts, with Davide CalÃ¬ and Massimo Gurrieri, the minimal label Equilibria Records, planning for december of the same year the third release "Cosmic Crossdresser", containing two reinterpretations of the well known canadese duo Tractile (see Minus). Actually he's producing and playing a deeper and darker side of modern minimalism.
