Glitter GraphicsI'm a single mom, currently working three jobs, attending college and raising some great children. I won't be single for long as I am getting married on August 15, 2009 to the most wonderful man in the world, John Menne. Johnny is the love of my life and my true soul mate. We have known each other for almost 32 years. He was my knight in shining armour when I was a mere 15 and now I can't wait until he is my husband. Johnny is the most romantic man I have ever known... he showers me with love and affection, flowers and a gorgeous 2 and a half carat diamond engagement ring. He brings me breakfast in bed, runs my bath and treats me like a princess. Our fairytale wedding is on August 15, 2009; with a wedding party of 20. My gown can be viewed at maggiesottero.com and the name to look for is emme. Between Johnny and I we share a dozen children and quite a few grandchilren. My daughter "Lara Lee" is my oldest... she is married and together with her husband Jason they are raising a baby boy "Aidan". He is my first and only grandson... Two of my sons are currently in bands. My oldest son Rob is the bassist for Blueprint for Destruction and my son Ronnie was the lead vocalist for "In Which Days Die" and previously sang for Torment Ridden, As Skies Darken and sang and played bass for Rise Before Dawn. He is currently in Now! The City a new innovative band that will take things seriously and actually go somewhere. My son Tristan is in Saab al boor, Iraq and will be coming home for Christmas...Thank God.. We are so proud of him and the tremendous courage it takes to serve our country at a time like the present one. Just hoping things change before he does.Tristan and my 18 year old son Julian and Dillon play guitar and Dillon and my youngest son Sarek are interested in taking piano lessons...I think I need another job, hahaha... Yes, I have a lot of children... Seven, to be exact... One exquisite daughter and six magnificent sons... Johnny has two beautiful daughters Nicole and Melanie... and three sons, Johnathon, Brandon and David who is deceased. We unfortunately do not get to see them often. Besides my adoration for my children...I love life, learning, laughter, music, friends and family. I have acquired a great interest in philosophy and ethics!!! I love to sing and to write. I've been rekindling my fire for writing poetry, short stories and fables and I am endeavering to publish a small book which is a compilation of my favorites. I seek knowledge, wisdom, and balance... Although I fought it all the way, my friend hit the nail on the head when he spoke to me of balance as well as a few other issues and I am striving to attain... since they are vital assets of a happy, healthy life. I ask an insane amount of questions, am highly opinionated, confident and independent! There are those certain times, however when I am extremely insecure and vulnerable and then I ask even more questions. Ther isn't anything I can't achieve. I don't back down and I never ever lose. I'm a bad ass when it comes to fighting, I never lose there either... ask my sons!?! I have learned the only stupid question is the one you fail to ask!!!I am extremely Passionate and driven, uniquely wonderful and incredibly deep. I've allowed myself through many prior mistakes to live in the past, which hasn't proven to be very productive... I am a survivor of domestic violence. Seventeen years of it to be exact and is the reason why it is so terribly difficult for me to open up and trust again. But Johnny has cured all that for me now!!! I've since moved forward over the past five years and my aspirations have taken a dramatic turn... My quest is for happiness, peace, fun... to inspire and to be truly inspired.
