I am a painter, illustrator and writer. I also teach during term-time, to fund my visits to Italy and other countries where the weather is fine, the architecture beautiful and the people friendly. I count myself lucky to have met Dónall Dempsey, my lover and a gifted poet, who has given me back faith in myself and in the value of love and companionship.I have a lovely daughter who is a talented artist.
My paintings of places are on my website at www.artwork4u.com. I have two Italian diary blogs which can be reached from my website.
The quarterly magazine "The Delinquent" (available in print or as a download at www.thedelinquent.co.uk) has published two of my pieces in the December 2008 issue, No7.
My poems are hosted by
http://www.poemhunter.com
and some of them are illustrated on my "Poems" blog at
http://janicewindle.blogspot.com/

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Genuine people who say what they mean honestly but kindly. People who can make me laugh. And people who like my work. And of course other artists, writers and travellers, gallery owners and publishers.Below is the slideshow my sister Frances has made, of some of our family photos, going back to my grandparents.....
