[A:M:B]

[A:M:B] has been founded by Siegmar Fricke and his wife Heike Boehm in 2002 . In the same year the duo contributed to the MOTHER 1-compilation on atom-heart.com with the track MONOFLUOR (VERSION PHARMACOUSTIQUE). The first album „Chloramphenol“ has been finished in summer 2006. The CD features nine tracks in crystalline DSP-quality; completely produced, digitally edited and mixed by Miguel. A. Ruiz in his Gagarin-work-shop in Spain. The music consists of reduced and syncopated rhythmic patterns, clinical filtered ambiences generated by sampling-technlogy, electro-modulated voices and linear structure; in detail all single audio-elements are very modulated by various electronic devices. The trancy element is sometimes incorporated but never the most essential aspect. Starting with a very artificial sub-aqua-soundscape there continue tracks of robotic pharmatrance with Heike Boehm’s artificial voice, metallic rhythmic patterns, deep-blue chemical sound-pools, energetic sequences, wide ambiences and fresh sound-standard. The CD has been released in September 2006 on the Norwegian label TIBPROD/cat.nbr TIBCD84(www.tibprod.com) and is now available as free download album on archive.org (see link).The second [A:M:B]-album „Pharmatrance“ has been released in summer 2008. It features 10 tracks of the pre-[A:M:B]-period 1994-2002 for the first time digitally edited, facelifted and compiled by mastermind Miguel A. Ruiz.[A:M:B] are currently working on their third album "Sternkraut", scheduled for summer 2009 accompanied by hippie-style-photography and artworks related to the 70s.
