Sarah Diesel has been a committed patient advocate, collective manager, and Patient Consultant (Bud-tender) in Los Angeles since 2005. Sarah believes patients deserve quality affordable medicine, and she dedicates her time educating the public about the many benefits of medical cannabis as well as some of the unconventional methods of ingesting it.
In between facilitating weekend seminars and instructing the Patient Relations 101 and Civics 101 classes at Oaksterdam University, she produced the 2010 "Pin Ups for Patients" Calendar as a fundraiser for GLACA, Americans for Safe Access (ASA), and ovarian/breast cancer research foundations.
Sarah also volunteers as the secretary for GLACA - the Greater Los Angeles Collectives Alliance. She is a regular participant at LA City Council hearings, plans and attends demonstrations in Southern California, and helps steer the evolving medical cannabis movement in Los Angeles.
In her spare time this summer she was the co-host for Season 1 of the television show 'Cannabis Planet.'
