Glue was formed in it's original line-up in late 2001 and was formerly known as the band, Funky Generator. With original drummer, Oliver Reyes; Bassist, Jason Burns; Guitarist, Chuck Whitinger and Vocalist, Tracy Marie, the band recorded 9 original tracks in the studio. The tracks originally set to make up a full-length release remain portions of the unfinished project after the band parted ways for nearly 3 years.
In late 2005, Chuck, Jason and Tracy joined forces with drummer Shawn Hapney in an unsuccessful cover band stint, at which point the 4 musicians decided to revive the band as a force to be reckoned with.
