I BELIEVE THAT WE ARE ALL SEARCHING FOR APPROVAL AND THERE IS NO BETTER WAY THAN THROUGH THE EYES OF THE CHILD. I have loved....I have had love lost....I've been loved...I have found love lost. During our lifetimes all of us can look "back" and find those small moments that altered our lives as we knew them then. How did we do? Does it matter now? It seems to me that I spend so much time in that place that I'm not seeing the place that I am. I am soooo proud of my daughters: Karla-ann..Barbara....Skeeter....Blake....Evin and Merik! The joy AND misery that they bring to the table is what keeps me alive! If I could have a granted wish it would be that I got to spend more time with them all and less with myself. We are mostly selfish when given a choice; but since that is true; I would be able to hold and play with Jacob, Baileigh and Ashlynn; my beautiful granchildren that live in Texas with Barbara and Pete. Joelle and Ari are both with Dave and Blake here in Omaha. Karla-ann in Georgia, Skeeter in Breckinridge are never close enough and Evin and Merik may feel as though they are both too close. I can only say that this has not and is not an easy road when you add up all of the personalities that involve our growing family. A person must live their beliefs if they are to be believed. Holding ones self accountable for ones own actions is a full time job and yet we find ourselves blinded by holding others accountable for theirs. THERE IS A SIMPLE ANSWER: Most people are not in this world to hurt us. Hopefully, we are not trying to hurt anyone else. TADA! Please don't look for a place to lay the blame for there is none and if there were.... those people "might" be suprised by your civility. But be judicious only when it counts. Assume the unconditional love from "Family" and then show it. For if we can't forgive, then we can't be forgiven. If we can't love, then we can't be loved. Love is an action, not a right. I am neither rightgeous, nor better than anyone else; in fact probably worse but I do know this... If we search for love,we will find it...if we cultivate love, we will keep it...and if we TRULY love, we will enjoy it.
