BACKSTORY: Chrono is a devil who has a real problem with things not going according to plan. It all started back about 1200 years ago when he and a group of his so-called "friends" (known as the sinners) planned to overthrow Heaven and create a new world order on Earth. Right before the conquering took place, he met Mary of Magdalene and showed him the error of his ways. Then he decided to overthrow the Sinners and restore the natural order. For the next 50 years, he and Mary teamed up together to fight the Sinners and they succeeded. But, the price was that Mary died to Chrono's demonic power at the end of the battle. Chrono gains his power through a "Contractor" or a person that holds a significant place in his life. Through the contractor, Chrono can gain unstoppable power but at the cost of the contractor's life. In short, the longer he is at full strength, the shorter the lifespan of his beloved. The fight used up all the life force that Mary had left in her fragile, but caring body. When she died, Chrono didn't want to be bothered by anyone, or time for that matter, so he removed his demonic horns that represented his status as a devil and spent the next 1000 years sitting next to her coffin in her underground grave. At the turn of the 21st century, he was awakened from his depressing slumber by Rose Ninja Maron and is now trying to set his life straight and find what's really important within himself (as a younger, less powerful version of himself) as the reincarnated Sinners plan to continue where they left off...
