DeadStar

Deadstar was formed shortly after Em was released form the ICU of NY Pres Hos. after failed suicide attempt, during the winter of '04. He was left siting in a parking lot smoking a cigarette contemplating the mortality of our frail being, and it's none existence. While glancing around at his surroundings he noticed Vito sitting there drinking Green Tea and reading the Dhammapada. After several random meetings in the most obscure places they decided to start working on several projects music being one of them.
Deadstar is a culmination of everything past, present, and future tense. Living in the void between here and non-existence. Drawing inspiration from the worlds around them. Leaving no stretch of the imagination un-ventured. Songs ranging from Strangulation to Saviors, Mutilation, Botched attempts at graphing machinery to flesh as well everything parallel and perpendicular to these world views.
Don't let these dark concepts fool you. Just as there are multiple layers to every spectrum, these individuals are equally as diverse. Constantly speaking about Buddha-nature, Christ nature, Magistic Magick, Peace, and Zen practices in every facet of the word. Combining these concepts and believes together to form the odd unique perspectives that the band seems to offer.
