Influences: All the great songs I've listened to the past 3 decades... radio, TV, live....
OK, I loved Captain and Tennille and the Carpenters. I jumped on the bed to many Olivia Newton John songs. My crazy father left a Led Zeppelin Record around for my brother and I to listen to on occasion. Oh, Sandy Patti was a middle school favorite along with Amy Grant. Most songs from the 70's I love to hear while driving with the windows down and my hair batting my face. Yep, I have the Time Life Gold Collection I payed an arm and a leg for years ago. But Lauren Hill, Natalie Merchant, Aimee Mann, and Justin Timberlake grace my endtables too. My recent obsession has been "Luxurious" with Gwen Stephani. Can't get enough of that one.
But I'd much rather be sitting on the couch at the Electric Company in Utica with a drink listening to the local artists!
Sounds Like: Each song can yield a different tone and style.
