About Me

I was born and raised and live in King's Lynn Norfolk. It's a small town on the south east of England full of chavs and old people that shuffle about the town centre all day. Some of my favourite things about King's Lynn are:
Juggling Jim.
Juggling Jim is a tramp that resides outside of HMV on the High street. He juggles and plays his guitar that is hardly there anymore. It is basically broken in half and has no more working strings. This doesn't stop him from playing it though and quietly mumbles lyrics to the passes by. He also has a large book of lyrics that I have tried to catch a glance of as I walk passed but they are basically unreadable. He is subjected to just about every rumour under the sun. From him seeing his family die in a fire to him loosing all of his money investing it into the film Revolution that was filmed in Lynn and was a flop. On a side note, I was taken along to the filming of a scene of the film where a wooden horse was ripped apart. I was only a tot in a push chair and proceeded to cry and was comforted by Annie Lennox. That’s how my Mum tells it anyway so take that the same way you take and Juggling Jim stories.
Roger.
Roger is the landlord at the Crown and Mitre, situated on the quay in Lynn. He is certainly one of the great characters of King’s Lynn. He has an opinion on everything you could possible imagine. He will also give an answer to just about any question you have as well, regardless to if he has an informed answer or not. My favourite Rogerism was that if you mix a liquor that’s 20% with one that’s 30% it becomes 50%. The pub it’s self is also a haven for strange people that always makes for a good visit on a night out.
I was brought up on Monty Python and horror films. Every week my Dad would drive me to a friend of his that lived near a river that I always thought my Dad would take a hard right and drive straight into. The guy had two massive dogs that would scare the shit out of me every time we went round there. We would knock on this guy’s door and the two dogs who were in the back yard would jump up at a massive gate. We would rent pirate videos off of this guy. My dad would pick one film and let me pick another. I would always pick a horror film. Some that I remember watching from this guy were the 1988 version of The Blob, The Fly and The Fly 2 and The Exorcist 3. I guess this is where my obsession with horror films started.
I was also always into the idea of film making. My parents got an old VHS-C camera in the early 90’s and I would spend hours making stupid little films with it. To start with they would usually involve my wrestling figures. I would make dumb stories up on the spot and use tomato sauce as blood as most of the films would end in some horrific way. I then started doing animation with plasticine. It was pretty crap due to the fact that you can’t shoot one frame at a time with a VHS-C camera. It takes about 15 at a time resulting in awful slow animation. Next I would make stupid sketches and remakes of films with Michael Jaz. Our Citizen Cane was a remake of the Fly that included such great effects as milk being spat out onto a hand and felt tipped on hair. All of those short films are now lost. I made a tape and lent the one and only copy to a friend at school who lost it. Next I was making Jackass style crap. In doing so I fractured my elbow going down the bandstand stairs in a shopping trolley. I never did get to see the footage as my friend Doughty taped over it almost as soon as he shot it. The next step was making a film proper. After meeting Trevor online, a script I had written years earlier finally went into production and we started filming Zombie Scumbags in February and is getting pretty close to completion now. It’s gone further than I could have ever imagined. We have been featured on a documentary on Living TV about the casting of a scene in the film. We have been interviewed on BBC radio Cambridge and Kerrang radio. We have also had a write up in a local magazine.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Anyone really.what is music for?it's not about selling fucking records, or promoting your image, or getting into magazines, or getting famous, or being cool, or hard, or getting girls, or getting fucked in some bog with some cunt...it's for making a statement, and confronting core beliefs and standards, and creating an emotion, a feeling, without exclusion, and fucking off corporate wank. it needs to be difficult or it stops moving forward, and gets fucking boring.you share this idea, and you are with us.music never changed anything, but the people who listen to it did.
