Depeche Mode - David Bowie - Goldfrapp (& NIN again now) are my favourites... Old/New Electro, New Wave, New Romantic, Industrial, Glam, Goth, Italo Disco, Soundtracks, Ambient, Modern Classical and the likes to follow...should sound like something that goes from white, cold, jagged, totalitarian whipping beats to decadent, desolating, lonesome, loving, nostalgic melodies...
Movies:
Blade Runner, Donnie Darko, The Lord Of The Rings (Trilogy), Alien (Quadrilogy), Omen (Trilogy), Bram Stocker's Dracula, The Rocky Horror Picture Show, Velvet Goldmine, Party Monster, Star Wars (Esalogy), Il portiere di notte (The Night Porter)... and all Sci-Fi, Horror, Fantasy movies in general with all their trail of anguish, pain, technology, blood, death, battles, man vs machine, wizardry, apocalypse etc.
Television:

Nazis almost burn them all in 1933 and now the Savage Jaw of 1984 won't let us read the few left anyway...
