Good People- You can count them on one hand! Whatever happened to "love thy neighbor?" Seemingly it has been changed to lie, cheat, steal from & murder thy neighbor! Everyone is trying to bump the other off, step over others to get to the top & lastly no one cares about the next guy's feelings! I am a very caring person and am so sick of hearing about people hurting people! I try to treat others as I want to be treated. Some folks take kindness for weakness or as a sign of vulnerability. I am a very tough cookie so I will be okay. What about the others? Some people are not happy unless they feel like they are getting over on someone else. How sad it is that a lot of folk don't know what it is to receive a kind word, because they have never given one! Trust is really beginning to be an issue for me. In this sad day & time we should be sticking together to fulfill the dreams of our kids and grand-kids. What does the world have to offer them other than violence? Come on people let's try to make the world a better place since we are stuck having to live in it. Call an elderly family member and ask them if they need anything. Tell your parents you love them if they are still around. I don't have the privilege of doing that, my parents are deceased. Tell your kids how much you love and appreciate them. Show respect for your fellow human beings. Respect is not given it is earned. Do something nice for someone. Last but not least, look to God for your answers. He will hear your plea and decide if you have lived according to His will. The God that I know will forgive you even though you may not have lived as being a forgiving person. You are not perfect, only He. I am not the most pious person but I am blessed in many ways. I try to live a stress free life as much as I possibly can. One of the major factors in doing that is knowing that you can sleep at night because your conscience is clear. Please live every single day as if it were your last, one day it will be! Don't be judgemental because on your last day here you too will see the Man Himself and you just might find yourself begging for mercy. Food for thought, "mercy is shown where mercy is given!"
