Vandera was born in the beautiful island of Nassau, Bahamas. From an early age, she would grasp the words of any song that she heard, because she was a songbird before she could understand that she was. Presently, Vandera is pursuing a career in the legal field while simultaneously promoting the Kingdom of God through music, but more specifically through song. She is apart of the Marlin Award winning praise group known as Total Praise but has recently ventured out to commence her solo project entitled "I Know You're Here". To date, the preceding single is now in stores (entitled "I Know You're Here) but the album is scheduled for completion September 2008. Vandera Has enjoyed the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with the locally-acclaimed DJ Counsellor and has produced two songs with him entitled "I am The Way" and Hold on,Be Strong"-which is a tribute to our late fathers.
