The basics: I'm from New York (born in Brooklyn, raised in Queens). I moved to Boston for optometry school. I hate Boston. And I apologize to my friends for having to listen to me bitch about it...over and over again. I often get asked about my background...my parents are from Trinidad & Tobago. I only speak English. And sometimes I pretend to know Spanish. =) Unfortunately, I live up to almost all female stereotypes: My favorite color is pink. I love shopping and clothes, shoes, makeup, etc....I don't know a thing about sports...I can't park, and I'm a horrible driver. I am however, good at math! =) I love kids...but not as patients. Those brats can go elsewhere. =) I'm addicted to coffee...the local Starbucks employees and I are on a first name basis. I have a potty-mouth, I may have been born with it. I hate surprises. Yes, I do get tired of asking: "Which is better: one or two?" I love being a tourist. I get annoyed when people confuse homonyms. I can sleep for insane periods of time...my current record is 22 hours straight. I dislike fast food, although I have a slight weakness for Taco Bell. I've been called a gold digger...but that's totally not true --obviously I'd prefer platinum. ;-)
