About Me

I'm a 30's-ish guitar player with many many influences...First, my wife and kids are my biggest influence...love you guys. Next would be the music, which was first for many years. There are too many artists to list, like I see so many people trying to do...but I will say its from blues to rock to reggae, country to soul, funk to experimental, a bit of hip hop (if they play instruments), folk and bluegrass, psychedelic to jazz (acid and non), punk (and I meant the real punk, not bubble or "modern" bands). I hate to say that punk died years ago. And not to forget my more metallic days, anything pre Garage Days...Slayer, Pantera, Anthrax, Testament, etc...you all get the hint. Under my hippie facade (not entirely so, but on occasion) is a metal lovin fucker who loves to get the horns up and the head goin up and down... I basically dig any music that the musicians kick ass at what they are doing. I am not going to list every band individually,(gotta love the people who try to sum up their whole being on a few lines...and they are probably feel like they have done a good job at doing so, but to bunch a life into a few lines??? I guess that they lead pretty restricted lives if they can list every influence on here)...currently there has been alot of old blues, T.L.G., Zappa, Zeppelin (always in heavy rotation), Dead, Slayer, Pantera, Damageplan, Phish, Toots, Peter Tosh, Among the living album, the Funk brothers (they kick ass for old cats)...and the list could go on...and does...on, and on, and on....I have a great love for passionate lively people and those who are truly still dreamers in this day and age of cookie cutter-take a pill to cure your woes-compound interest laden society. It seems that too many people say they are passionate, but they only seem focused on what is spoon fed to them and live a cliche' rich existance. Tell me...where is the passion there? Lead a perfect life and you never left the fiction section...lead a fucked up life and come out cool with yourself, and you are a friend.I'd like to meet anyone with a lust for life (sorry Iggy)with originality and a mad fever to live outside the norm. This would usually include artists, musicians, writers, readers, visionaries (induced included), party goers and lovers of our time that has been given.
