Free PicsVox Humana is a 3 piece garage rock band from Edmonton.The name, although perhaps confusing and definitely quasi-intelligent, is the mission statement for the band. 'The Human Voice' as it is translated; this means to keep your own stamp constantly on your craft. Do not let any outside influences dictate what you need to say.Vox has gradually been building up a loyal fanbase due to their powerful live performances. They have a vast range of songs and moods with an emphasis on storytelling through the collision of the music, words and performance.MATT (28) has been consistently playing/promoting/recording in bands for the past 10 years (past projects include 47ronin, Rorschach and Whatbox) He is also the owner/engineer of the local studio 'Electric Soil Recordings'BRENDAN (22) brings a heavy groove, hip-hop feel to the songs. He has played everything from hardcore punk to country to rock to sitting in on rap-battles.
ADRIAN (25) is a relative newcomer to the Edmonton scene is also the singer/songwriter for the project 'Among the Trees'. This is his first outing as a bassplayer, showing his diverse talents.
